2008 Matthew Stuski Golf Outing on October 6, 2008

A message from Kevin and Nancy Stuski:

Join us for the Third Annual Matthew Stuski Golf Outing in memory of our oldest son, Matt.

The day's events will include:

* Putting contest
* Raffle and prizes
* Dinner and Cocktails

We decided to honor Matt's memory by raising funds for Philadelphia Young Playwrights because of their mission of inspiring students, our personal involvement with this organization and in recognition of Matt's desire to be a teacher.

The golf outing will be fun, with good food and a chance to win prizes! Your participation will help to provide young students an opportunity to share their voice.

2007 Matthew Stuski Golf Outing Attendees

Mayor Michael A. Nutter accepted Philadelphia Young Playwrights' Civics Award on June 4!

Philadelphia Young Playwrights recently celebrated 21 years of tapping the potential of youth and inspiring learning through playwriting!

The Write On! Celebration at World Cafe Live on June 4, 2008, highlighted the transformative effect of the Young Playwrights experience and featured inspiring selections from past and present winning young playwrights, including 2007 Pulitzer Prize nominee Quiara Alegría Hudes, whose Tony-Winning show, "In the Heights" made its recent Broadway premiere!

In addition, we saluted a few of the remarkable individuals who have made a lasting impact on Young Playwrights. The evening included a cocktail reception, followed by the award presentation, live performance, and dessert and coffee with the playwrights and cast. We hope you can join us next year.
