Student Playwriting Retreat

On Saturday, April 17th we invited elementary, middle school, and high school students to come together with our Teaching Artists and local area theatre professionals to work in small groups on playwriting.

One teacher, Toni Ruddy from Beverly Hills Middle School, said this of the experience:  

While all of my students LOVED the Saturday retreat, and were very appreciative all the way home, one of my students who attended - D’aja Chenet said, “Ms. Ruddy, this Saturday was so incredible in so many ways! It was better than my birthday!”
