Youth Council member and We Write South Philly High playwright Thien To was featured on local television channel PhilyCAM (Comcast 66/966 and Verizon 29/30) as part of a program produced by PhillyCAM and Philly Youth Radio entitled “Teen Sanctuaries” about places teens like to go to destress or create. Board member and program alum Quiara Alegría Hudes was recently awarded the 2012 Pulitzer Prize for Drama! SHe was awarded for her latest play Water By the Spoonful, which had its premiere run at the Hartford Stage in Hartford, Connecticut.
